I’m Dave, and I’ve lived in the Boorley Green area with my family for many years. I am standing as a candidate who truly lives at the heart of the Botley Ward.

In my professional life, I lead multidisciplinary teams for a major blue chip company, specialising in Legionella control and public safety compliance. It is work that demands precision, accountability, and a constant focus on protecting people. These are the same standards I will bring to representing our community.

Alongside this, I run a five-star hospitality business. That experience has taught me the importance of high standards, financial discipline, and delivering a reliable service every single day. When you are responsible for people’s wellbeing, you learn quickly that problems are solved through action, not excuses.

Like many residents, I am frustrated by rising costs, slow responses, and a council that often feels disconnected from the people it serves.

I am standing to bring a more transparent, responsive, and resident-focused approach. My priorities are clear: protect the services our community relies on, fix what is not working, and make sure local people are properly heard.
