Despite living on modest pensions, they don’t qualify for Pension Credit, and the process to apply is daunting and time-consuming. With the cost of living rising and energy prices remaining high, this loss has added significant stress to their lives. It’s disheartening to see policies that were meant to protect our pensioners being altered in ways that leave many vulnerable. I urge the government to reconsider and ensure that all our elderly citizens receive the support they need to live with dignity and warmth.”
