Candidate Profile:
I have proudly called this community home since 1997, when I moved here for work.
My background is not in politics. It is in service. I served in the Royal Navy as a submariner, then in the Police Service, and I now work in the Fire and Security Industry as a Design Engineer. Those experiences have shaped my values and my belief in family, community and country.
Like many local residents, I can see the pressures our area is facing. Public services are stretched, roads are increasingly congested, public transport is under strain, and overdevelopment is putting real pressure on the character of our community.
That is why I am standing.
I want to bring a fresh perspective, stronger scrutiny, and a common-sense approach to local government. I am standing for both borough and county responsibilities because the decisions made at Fareham Borough Council and Hampshire County Council have a direct impact on our daily lives.
I will work to ensure:
- safer roads and properly supported public services
- protection for our open spaces and community character
- action on petty crime and anti-social behaviour
- better accountability for how your taxes are spent
Our community should be able to thrive without losing its identity.
I am standing to protect what makes this area special and to help secure a better future for local residents.
